Writing and PublishingWrote a newspaper column on favorite childrens books when working at the Friendswood Public Library as a childrens librarian, Friendswood, Texas. Editor of the Bear Lake Woman’s Club Cookbook published in 2000, and the Bear Lake Lioness Cookbook published in 2001. PuppetsSpending over 20 years as a librarian and using puppets to promote reading has inspired a career with puppets. I learned how to use all kinds of puppets from ventriloquist dummies to marionettes as a member of the Greater Houston Puppetry Guild. Creating ways to incorporate them into forms of entertainment is a challenge. I do the story time for the Keddie Norconk Memorial Library in Bear Lake during the summer presenting puppet skits, reading stories, and helping the children make puppets. Professional Background1974-1975 Riverview Elementary School Librarian, Florida
